Healthcare disparities have a direct impact on risk and outcomes in patients of African descent with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Prompt recognition and diagnosis of SLE are the first steps to reducing healthcare disparities. Primary care providers can play a key role in addressing these disparities in their practice setting. During this webinar, providers will explore common healthcare disparities that exist in SLE patients of African descent and learn specific strategies to address these disparities in their primary care practice.
