The National Medical Association (NMA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The NMA designates these asynchronous activities for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM each. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Format & Activity Description
Workshops, hands on activities and seminars addressing critical concerns of medical specialists will be held during this activity. Lectures, panels, and demonstrations will be given as well.
All scientific sessions throughout the convention are open to registered attendees. However, pre-registration may be required for special workshops.

In accordance with the ACCME’s Standards for Integrity and Independence, all persons who control the educational content of NMA accredited activities must disclose all financial relationships with any ineligible companies that they have had over the past 24 months. NMA uses the ACCME’s definition of ineligible companies: Those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients. There is no minimum financial threshold. NMA determines whether any of those financial relationships are relevant to this activity. NMA ensures that all Relevant Financial Relationships are disclosed to learners. All of the relevant financial relationships identified for persons in a position to control activity content have been mitigated.
